Before Wolverine reopened the school, it was known as the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, a place where mutant teenagers could come to harness their powers. Nowadays, the X-Men have broadened their educational assistance to young adults as well, as many more heroes now need to be trained.

X-Mansion
Just outside the boundaries of New York City is the X-Mansion, which is battered as you'd expect, but otherwise, pretty well off. The building is still standing tall and serves as a great meeting point for the heroes of the new age.
