The White House The White House is barely standing and is being heavily guarded the remaining Secret Service and U.S. Military. All interesting artifacts not picked up by S.H.I.E.L.D. have been confiscated by the government and locked up in the newly built underground lab located just below the White House. Good luck getting in there, though. The guards on duty barely even blink. |

The Capitol Building While still serving as a place for what's left of Congress to meet and hold discussions, the Capitol building is also a place where citizens can come if they're in need of dire help. |

The Smithsonian Institute - 1 Viewing This marvelous piece of history has been almost completely destroyed during the war. 11 out of 14 museums have collapsed, leaving on the National Air and Space Museum, the Museum of Natural History, and the National Portrait Gallery, all of which are in an unstable condition. |

The Washington Monument The Washington Monument was a sort of safe-haven for citizens during the war, as the structure simply wouldn't come down. It's still standing and serves as one of the few rendezvous points for heroes, old and new alike. |

The Lincoln Memorial This historical building has been blasted to smithereens, leaving nothing less but a caved in structure and a half-constructed statue of the former president. |
